Just A Little Touch Of Blush...

Goodevening my lovely ladies!!!

Clearance sales are a real blessing! I've just come back from an afternoon of shopping with a little haul of makeup products and I can't wait to try them all!
During my everyday life, I'm used  to put on a very natural and fresh make up: just a little touch of blush on my cheeks, a coat of black mascara on my lashes, which unfortunately tend to be short and thin, and a lipstick that enhances the natural color of my lips and that can keep them moisturized and soft.
However, I can't deny that I'm very passionate about lipsticks, so I often experiment with brighter colors, bolder and eye-catching!
Actually, this overstated shopping was absolutely not planned, but once I was in the Kiko's  store of my town, a famous Italian brand whose prices are perfect for people who like to experiment with makeup and don't want to spend a fortune, I was literally dazzled and spellbound, and  I couldn't  resist to fill my basket !

So, here what I bought:

  • Kiko nail laquers, number 48 and 58;
  • Kiko outdoor bronzer, "Technical honey", number 01;
  • Kiko matte lipstick " Velvet Passion", number 315;
  • Kiko lipstick "Mirage", number 05;
  • Kiko lipstick "Endless love", number 05;
  • Kiko lip laquer " Shining Star", number 02 and 04;
  • Kiko "bright duo" baked eyeshadow, "Infinity", number 239;
  • Kiko 3d light & glow highlighter " Conquer Coral", number 01.
Have an amazing weekend!

Tiny Beautiful Things of the Week

First of all I want to say a big Thank You to Jennie from Sailboat because she has suggested me this beautiful Owl Oil Burner!!!
I saw it in her gorgeous blog a month ago and it was love at the first sight!
Last Tuesday, when the postman arrived with a packet for me, I felt so excited and I tried immediately this nice owl with a new Yankee Candle called " Home Sweet Home", a heartwarming blend of cinnamon, baking spices, and a hint of freshly poured tea.
I love the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere that this tiny object is able to create and my room smells good all day!!!

Yesterday I also tried "Fireside Treats" Yankee Candle and I really liked it because it reminded me the joy of staying by the fire, singing, laughing and toasting marshmallows!!!

This week I've finally bought this lip gloss that I wanted for months!!!
It's "Collistar Twist Ultra Shiny Gloss", n 207 Coral pink, a thicker pencil gloss with a pointy tip that doesn't need to be sharpened.
The fragrance-free formula contains hyaluronic acid and pro-collagen to keep the lips smooth and moisturized.
The tip glides nicely on the lips and allows for a fast and precise application, because it lasts no more than two hours.

I'm so proud of my purchase because this lip gloss has a beautiful color, it is bright and shiny and the texture is soft and creamy enough, but not sticky.
I recommend it for those who want a natural and refined daily makeup, but with a touch of color on the lips!!!

Love
xoxo

My grandmother's blouse

Some months ago, when I was peeking in my grandmother's wardrobe in Florence, I found this silky pink blouse and I thought it was beautiful.

My grandma told me she had created it when she was young and that she would have been really happy to give it to me as a present.

On Christmas Day I received this lovely sweater and I thought it would have been perfect to wear with the blouse.

It's funny because at the moment I'm reading a book entitled "The secret lives of dresses",by Erin Mc Kean, that I found in a second hand shop, and I think it fits perfectly with the story of this outfit.
 For my makeup I used:
- eye pencil: Neve Cosmetics "Pioggia/Taupe"
- mascara: Locherber "Extreme black"
- mineral blush: Neve Cosmetics " Creamy"
- lipliner: Neve Cosmetics "Ballerina Pink"

Have you got something of your grandmothers that you love to wear? Let me know..I'm so curious!!!

Natural Makeup

Hi girls!:)
I really want to tell you about a topic that I think is very important: the Natural Makeup, the organic cosmetics which are free of any parabens, synthethic perfumes or dyes and which use raw materials of vegetable origins such as oils, waxes, butters and other precious ingredients.

These products are respectful of the nature and they aren't tested on animals, but on makeup artists, so they are perfect for the consumers who wish to become more conscious and attentive and who want to make a deal with the nature and buy products which take their essences from her.
The organic cosmetics aren't aggressive and are well tolerated from people who have a sensitive skin, and they also allow you to avoid the appearance of problems such as dermatitis or allergies, which often are caused by a massive use of harmful chemicals, contained in traditional cosmetics.
My favourite brand are:

 I discovered them two years ago when I had some allergy problems and I couldn't wear any cosmetic, because it caused me burning sensations, redness in my eyes and frequent lachrymation.
I've adored their products since the first time and I haven't left them anymore!!!
Neve Cosmetics is an Italian brand, I buy the products on the website and my favourite are:

 Mineral Blush "Creamy"
Mineral eyeshadow "Cometa"

Eye pencils

My favourite colors are: "Avorio/beige", "Pioggia/taupe", "Bosco/teal"
Lipstick "Almond Cookie"

Lily Lolo is a British brand, also in this case I buy the products on the website, and my favourite are:

Mineral Finishing Powder " Flawless Silk"

       Mineral Blusher " Doll Face"

             Lip Gloss "Clear"

I hope you enjoyed your reading!!!Let me know what you think about these brands and their cosmetics!!!:)
